Here's a little non-classical wing chun for you from the floors of Pillars of Health. Wing Chun was created in the 1700's by the lady "Wing Chun" (meaning beautiful springtime) and was later adapted by Bruce Lee and Jesse Glover to be a form of self-defense that is incredibly effective because it uses the yin movements of a relaxed practitioner, and the powerful explosiveness of Bruce Lees's teachings. As bruce Lee said, a great practitioner does not strike ..."it strikes all by itself", with deadly efficacy allowing the defender to either escape harm, or damage the attacker sufficiently to dispel the notion of a further attack. Our instructor has over 47 years of experience in teaching self-defense and we are constantly amazed by how simple it is to learn, but difficult to master. Here is a couple teasers of what we teach at Pillars of Health: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9wtcjXmIRI&feature=plcp&context=C3dbbe49UDOEgsToPDskLCQ4Idi1c...
